Terms & Conditions

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of ScreenProps, its online products, and any of its subsidiaries or affiliated entities (collectively, ScreenProps). These Terms apply to all people, including teams and individuals, who use this product.

By creating a New Prop, New Project, or New Scene, you are affirmatively giving your consent to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use ScreenProps, including our website and any future applications for mobile devices. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to and use of ScreenProps for any time and any reason.

If you're agreeing to the Terms on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent that you are authorized to agree to these Terms on behalf of your entire organization or entity and bind them to these Terms.

Services

ScreenProps provides an easy and accessible way to create fake social media apps for TV and Film. It is not to be used for any other purpose. You are fully responsible for the material that you upload onto and export from ScreenProps, including its legality. Your use of ScreenProps is subject to the ScreenProps Acceptable Use provisions.

Acceptable Use

Your "Use" of ScreenProps is subject to these Acceptable Use provisions. If you fail to abide by the Acceptable Use terms, ScreenProps may immediately suspend, terminate, and/or delete any materials saved onto your ScreenProps account.

A. Age

ScreenProps may only be used by people 18 years or older.

B. Uploaded Content

You may not upload any photos, videos, or other materials which you do not have the right to use. This limitation includes images and videos of: (1) films or TV shows that User does not have rights to use for commercial or non-commercial purposes, (2) people who have not given explicit written consent to have their likeness used on ScreenProps, or (3) logos or brand material owned by entities User has not received permission from. You may not upload any images or videos of any person under the age of 12 under any circumstances. You may only upload images or videos of a person aged 13 through 17 with explicit parental consent. ScreenProps reserves the right to block access to its service should we suspect you are violating these terms.

C. Anti-Discrimination

You may not use ScreenProps to create materials intended to discriminate against people on the basis of age, ancestry, disability, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran-status. You are not permitted to use ScreenProps in any way that would likely elicit discrimination, unlawful material, or to incite or promote hostility or violence or hatred.

D. Harassment or Bullying

You may not use ScreenProps to create contents that are meant to demean or harass an individual or a group of people, including encouraging the use of self-harm, suicide, death, or harm to any person or animal.

E. Illegal Activities

You may not use ScreenProps to encourage or engage in illegal or fraudulent activities. Fraudulent activities include the creation of spam, exports used for ransom, keyloggers, viruses, or any other malicious activity.

F. Political Activity

While all art is political, ScreenProps is not designed to be used in the political arena. Political campaigns may not use ScreenProps. Organizations that support political candidates or issues of public interest may not use ScreenProps. Political Action Committees, as defined by federal and/or state law, may not use ScreenProps. Lobbying groups may not use ScreenProps. No person may use ScreenProps to create social media posts in support of, or against, any political campaign for public office world-wide. This includes use made directly by political campaigns or indirectly from other supporting organizations, such as the creation of advertisements.

G. Inappropriate Material

You may not upload material onto ScreenProps that is sexually explicit, pornographic, contains nudity, or other images provided to User without consent. This includes using AI to create sexually explicit material.

H. Intellectual Property Infringement

You may not use ScreenProps to violate the intellectual property rights of any person or entity. While ScreenProps may be used for commercial purposes, ScreenProps does not guarantee that "remixing," reconfiguring, or otherwise altering trademarked material will limit User from liability. ScreenProps makes no guarantees of protection and assumes no liability for the content.

J. Artificial Intelligence

This provision applies to your use of third-party Artificial Intelligence ("AI") products, and outputs developed using those third-party AI programs, such as Large Language Models, as that use relates to your use of ScreenProps. You may not use AI:

To copy the likeness and image of a person who has not given written consent to their copy.
To mislead an audience into believing your film is endorsed by any real social media company.
In any way that would go beyond the rights you possess of AI product outputs.
To upload AI-generated depictions of minors.

Entities That May Use ScreenProps

ScreenProps is primarily designed for small filmmakers. Subject to the other Terms, an adult or entity may use ScreenProps for projects with an operating budget of less than $2 million US Dollars without a Special Licensing Agreement ("Special License"). A Special License is a separate contract between a potential User and ScreenProps.

Films with an operating budget equal to or greater than $2 million US Dollars require a Special License. Additionally, a film of any budget created by a company with an annual revenue of $10 million US Dollars or more in the year preceding User's attempted use of ScreenProps also requires a Special License. A Special License must be agreed to and signed by both parties in writing before any User material may be imported to ScreenProps, and before any material is exported from ScreenProps. To apply for a Special License, please contact customer service.

Data

In order to store and save your projects on our service, ScreenProps reserves the right to store your material in our databases. ScreenProps reserves the right to monitor material uploaded ("uploaded files") to ensure compliance with our Acceptable Use policy. ScreenProps agrees to not share your uploaded files with other users, except as ScreenProps may contact specific Users directly to request to use their materials for limited advertising or demo purposes. ScreenProps agrees not to sell your account data or uploaded files to third parties.

Liability & Disclaimers

ScreenProps makes no guarantees that a film shot using any of its products will make the user free of liability. Use of ScreenProps does not constitute an endorsement of any film or product created using ScreenProps, including the individual posts, scenes, or projects. We recommend that you obtain legal advice before relying on ScreenProps work in your project.
